A blessing for the Thanksgiving table

Father, thank you for this table and for every person around it.

Thank you for the hands that cooked, the hands that carried, and the hands that cleaned up before anyone arrived.

Thank you for the year we made it through, the parts that were good and the parts that were hard.

We remember the ones who are not at this table, and we hold them in our hearts tonight.

Bless this food, bless this house, and bless the people you have given us.
