Before you download anything

Watch it work. Turn the sound on.

One minute, start to finish. She says what she is carrying out loud, it hears her, writes a prayer for it, and reads the whole thing back over her.

One minute. Screen recorded in the app, with the app's own audio. The narration is added; nothing on the screen is a mock-up.

How it works

Pour your heart out.
Heaven answers in Scripture.

1

Say it

Anxious. Grieving. Starting a new job. Tap the mic and say it out loud, or type it. No forms, no religion test, no judgment.

2

Receive it

A caring word for your moment, a prayer written for your exact situation, and real Scriptures chosen because they speak to it.

3

Keep it or share it

Hear it read aloud. Save it to your private journal. Or put someone's name in a prayer and send it to them in ten seconds.

One real answer, in full

You talk. It prays.

PrayItOut
I just got laid off and I don't know how I'm going to tell my family.🎤 spoken out loud
A word for you
Losing a job shakes more than a paycheck, and what you are feeling is real. But your worth was never in that title, and your family's love does not depend on it either. God has carried providers through this exact valley for generations.
A prayer to pray
Lord, You saw the meeting, You heard the news, and You have not moved an inch from my side. Give me the words and the courage for the conversation ahead, and provide for my family in ways I cannot yet see. Amen.
Scriptures for this
Philippians 4:19
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 37:25
I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

A real response from the app. Every verse is pulled word for word from the Bible inside it.

Made for real life

For the moments words run out.

A man praying in his car at dawn
Before the interview.
A woman waiting quietly in a hospital waiting room
In the waiting room.
Hands holding a phone in warm lamplight at night
At 2am, when sleep will not come.

The part nobody else builds

For the days faith
does not feel like faith.

Anybody can hand you an encouraging verse. This is what PrayItOut does on the days that is not enough.

When you cannot find words

A voice starts praying, and waits for you.

Tap I cannot find words and you do not have to come up with anything. One line is spoken to you, and the screen waits, breathing, while you say it back out loud.

Psalm 23. Psalm 121. The prayer Jesus taught. One for the middle of the night, one for grief. Five prayers, forty lines, every line taken from Scripture and recorded before you ever opened the app.

It never counts against your daily prayers. Not once.

When comfort would be an insult

"My mom died three weeks ago. I prayed every single night for her and she died anyway. I do not know what to do with that."

What the app said back

Three weeks. That is so raw, so impossibly soon. You prayed with everything you had, and she died anyway. That is not fair, and it makes sense that you do not know what to do with it. You do not have to feel better today.

And the prayer it wrote

God, I prayed. I asked you to heal her, to let her stay, and you did not. I am angry and I am broken and I do not understand why you did not answer the way I needed you to. Please stay with me in this darkness, even though I do not feel you.

Psalm 13:1-4Lamentations 3:1-8John 11:33-35

That is a real answer from the app, word for word, not something written for this page. When PrayItOut hears real grief it changes shape and prays lament. It is not allowed to say God has a plan, that she is in a better place, or the words "at least", and the server strips those words if they ever appear. It cannot reach for Romans 8:28 either. It can only answer out of a fixed list of sixteen passages that sit in the dark instead of arguing with it: Psalm 88, Psalm 13, Lamentations 3, Job, and Jesus weeping at a grave.

Finally understand it

The Bible, in plain English. Every verse explained.

Most of us were handed a 400-year-old translation and told to figure it out. PrayItOut gives you the Word in plain, modern English, with King James one tap away.

And when a verse still will not open up, tap it. You get it three ways: in plain words, what it means, and for your life. Like having someone next to you in church who breaks it all down.

A verse explained in plain English

Send someone a prayer

Know somebody going through it? Pray over them by name.

Fourteen ready prayers for the hardest and biggest moments: losing a loved one, fighting cancer, surgery, a new job, school, a new baby, and more.

Put their name in it, reword it in your own voice, and share it as a link or a beautiful card, to Facebook, Instagram, or a simple text. It takes ten seconds and it means everything.

And when what she is facing is nobody else's situation, tap Pray for someone else in the app. Say her name and what she is walking through, and it writes the prayer. She opens a link with her own name at the top and one button that reads it out loud over her.

Say it out loud at the table

Somebody has to bless the food. Now it does not have to be you.

Ten blessings written for real tables: Thanksgiving, Christmas dinner, Sunday dinner, a birthday, a new home, a family reunion, a new baby, an engagement, the year after a layoff, and the meal after a funeral.

Hold up your phone and read it, set in type big enough to see from across the table, or press play and let the whole room hear it. No account, nothing to install, so it works at somebody else's house.

Know the Word

580 questions, and not one of them invented.

Three games built on the same Bible that lives in the app. Bible Trivia from Genesis to Revelation, Finish the Verse where one word is missing, and Verse Scramble where you put the verse back together word by word.

Every question and every answer was checked against the actual text before it shipped. And your streak counts the days you showed up without ever resetting on you, because a Bible app has no business punishing you for a hard week.

📖

Never a made-up verse

The entire Bible lives inside the app. Every Scripture you see is the real text, pulled word for word. It cannot invent a verse. Ever.

🔒

Actually private

No account required. Your journal lives on your device, not in our database. Your prayers stay between you and God.

🕊️

A safety net

If someone shares that they are in a dark place, PrayItOut responds with care and puts the 988 lifeline one tap away.

🕯️

It knows when not to cheer you up

Tell it about a real loss and it stops reaching for the bright side. No plan, no better place, never the words "at least". Only the passages that sat in that same dark, and it is held to them in code.

✍️

Written first, checked twice

The games, the blessings and the guided prayers were written and verified against the Bible ahead of time. Nothing important is made up while you wait.

Questions

Asked and answered

Is it really free?

Yes. Reading the Bible, sharing prayers, listening, and your journal are free forever. Talking with PrayItOut is free every day, three spoken prayers a day, and the guided prayers do not count against it.

What Bible does it use?

The World English Bible in plain modern English, with the King James Version one tap away. Both complete, all 66 books, more than 31,100 verses each, inside the app.

Does it have games?

Three of them: Bible Trivia, Finish the Verse and Verse Scramble, 580 questions in all, every one checked against the Bible inside the app. Your streak counts the days you showed up and never resets on you.

Can I use it at Thanksgiving or a family dinner?

Yes. There are ten table blessings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Sunday dinner, birthdays, a new home, a reunion, a new baby, an engagement, a hard year, and the meal after a funeral. Read it off your phone or press play and let everybody hear it. No account needed.
