This privacy policy is for PrayItOut: Pray It Out Loud, an Android app published on Google Play by Harris Apps Studio (package com.prayitoutloud.app), and for the website prayitoutloud.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Harris Apps Studio.
PrayItOut does not require an account. Your journal, settings, and daily usage counts are stored only on your own device. We do not have a database of your prayers.
When you use the talk feature, the message you share is sent securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a prayer and Scripture suggestions. It is used only to create your response. Shared prayer links contain only the text you chose to share.
When you use the Share button in the PrayItOut app or on this website, or install the app from a link someone shared, we count it, with no name attached (for example, "share opened"). To credit the person whose link was used, the app keeps a random code on your phone and sends it with that count. We do not record what you do inside the app, and none of this is used for ads. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted on the website.
We do not sell data. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Your journal lives on your device: removing entries in the Journal tab, clearing your browser data, or uninstalling the app deletes it.
